David and the King Ministries is an evangelistic ministry dedicated to witness how Christ can change lives and save people. We believe the gospel should be given through all means, especially through proclamation with and through local churches and crusades with signs, wonders, and miracles confirming it.
We also challenge believers to come to know God in a way that all Christians should. The primary emphasis of this ministry is the knowledge of God.
This all started when David encountered Jesus and found out that God can be known, from then on, David wants everyone else to know Him too. We believe in God's power to heal the sick and to deliver those who are captive.
Statment of Faith
We believe that the Sacred Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired Word of God, (2 Timothy 3:16) without error in the original writings, the complete revelation of His will for the salvation of mankind, and the final authority for all Christian faith and life.
We believe there is only one God (Deut. 6:4) Creator of the heavens and the earth (Genesis 1:1) and who is eternally manifested in three distinct Persons. (Matthew 28:19, 2 Corinthians 13:14) The three Persons in the Godhead are the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, also known as the Trinity. They are eternally co-equal in glory and majesty.
We believe that Jesus Christ of Nazareth is the Son of the living God. (Mark 1:1) He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. (Matthew 1:20-22) He lived a sinless life. (Hebrews 4:15) Because of his claims, he suffered and was crucified under Pontius Pilate. (John 19:13-16) His claims were proven to be true when he was raised from the dead on the third day. (Acts 3:13-15, Acts 4:10) After his resurrection, he ascended unto heaven to sit at the right hand of the Father to intercede for us. (Acts 1:9, Romans 8:34, Ephesians 1:20, Hebrews 1:3) We believe that Jesus Christ is God incarnate, truly God and truly man. He is the divine Logos (Word), the second Person of the Trinity. (John 1:1,14,18) He will come back again to judge the living and the dead (2 Timothy 4:1).
We believe the Holy Spirit is fully God, co-equal with the Father and the Son, the third Person of the Trinity. He is the promise to all believers from the Father. (John 14:15-17) His primary work is to testify about Jesus (John 15:26) The Holy Spirit also convicts unbelievers of their need for Christ. (John 16:8) He imparts spiritual life through regeneration (new birth) (John 3:5-8) All believers are sealed in him for the day of redemption. (Ephesians 4:30) The Spirit baptizes, indwells, sanctifies, leads, illumines, empowers, anoints, and fills for godly living and service for all who have faith in Christ. (Luke 3:16, Acts 1:8, Ephesians 5:18)
Man is a created being, made in the likeness and the image of God, but through Adam’s transgression and fall, sin came into the world. (Romans 3:23, Romans 3:10). Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was manifested to undo the work of the devil and to give His life and shed His blood to redeem and restore man back to God (1 John 3:8). Salvation is the gift of God to man, separate from works and the Law, which is made operative by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, producing works acceptable to God (Ephesians 2:8).
We believe that the gospel is the good news of what God has accomplished for sinners through the life, death, and resurrection of his Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ. (John 3:16) Whoever repents from their sins and believes on Jesus Christ will be saved and will be given eternal life. (Luke 24:46-47, Romans 6:23, Romans 10:9, John 3:16)
We believe that the ministry of the Spirit in signs, wonders, and miracles continues to be as broad, tangible, and powerful among believers today as it was in the early church (Acts 4:30). We also believe that all the biblical gifts of the Spirit continue to be distributed by the Spirit today (1 Corinthians 12:4). They are to be eagerly desired, faithfully developed, and lovingly exercised according to biblical guidelines (1 Corinthians 14).
We believe that God uses doctors, medicines, and other material means for healing, but that divine healing is also available and may be appropriated by laying on of hands by elders (James 5:14-16) or by believers (Mark 16:18), by the prayers of any believer gifted for healing the sick (I Cor 12:9), or by a direct act of receiving this provision by faith (Mark 11:23). This is especially true where there is the clear and true preaching of the gospel.
We believe that the Church of Jesus Christ is a body of believers who have Jesus as their head; who assemble to worship, who carry forth the great commission, who minister as the Holy Spirit leads, and who affirm the fundamentals of the faith (Mat 16:18, 28:19, 20; Acts 2:20-28; 1 Cor 15:3-8; Eph 4:15; 5:22-32; I Tim 3:15).
We believe that when Christians die they pass immediately into the blessed presence of Christ, there to enjoy conscious fellowship with the Savior until the day of the resurrection and glorious transformation of the body. The saved will then forever dwell in blissful fellowship with their Lord and Savior. We also believe that when unbelievers die they are consigned to hell, there to await the day of judgment when they shall be punished with eternal separation from the presence of God and thrown into the lake of fire with the devil and his demons (Matthew 25:46; Luke 16:19-31; John 5:25-29; 1 Corinthians 15:35-58; 2 Corinthians 5:1-10; Philippians 1:19-26; 3:20-21; 2 Thessalonians 1:5-10; Revelation 20:11-15; 21:1-22:15).
